Neuromodulator Treatments

Neuromodulators are an injectable medication that relaxes and softens the skin by reducing facial muscle movement and inhibiting sweat and oil production. This class of medication is branded under Botox, Dysport, Xeomin and Nuceiva. They can also be used for therapeutic treatment for excessive sweating and headaches caused by temporomandibular disorders.

Fillers

Injectable filler is a soft tissue filler injected into the skin at different depths to help fill in facial wrinkles, provide facial volume, and augment facial features: restoring a smoother appearance. Most of these wrinkle fillers are temporary because they are eventually absorbed by the body. Most dermal fillers today consist of hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring polysaccharide that is present in skin and cartilage.

About Us

Kaitlyn Yurik, RN NP

I am a Registered Nurse, and Nurse Practitioner. I graduated with two Bachelor’s Degrees in both Biochemistry and Nursing before obtaining my Master’s in Nursing in the Nurse Practitioner stream.

As a Registered Nurse I have experience in NICU, labour and delivery, antepartum, postpartum and gyne surgery.

As a Nurse Practitioner I have focused my career in a primary care family all ages practice, and now also teach undergraduate and graduate nursing programs.

I have completed specialized training in medical aesthetics and have a passion for specialized skin care. I grew up in the Interlake and live locally with my husband and 4 energetic children. I am very excited to offer our community high quality medical services.

Neuromodulators

Neuromodulators are an injectable medication that relaxes and softens the skin by reducing facial muscle movement and inhibiting sweat and oil production. This class of medication is branded under Botox, Dysport, Xeomin and Nuceiva. They can also be used for therapeutic treatment for excessive sweating and headaches caused by temporomandibular disorders.

Common treatment areas include: forehead lines, crows feet, 11 lines between eyebrows, bunny lines on the nose, brow lift, down turn or gummy smiles, lip flip, chin dimpling, areas that sweat too much which we term hyperhidrosis and masseter muscle slimming.

Initial results will be seen in 3-5 days from injection and can last 3-4 months plus.

Pricing is dependent on the amount of product required which will be reviewed as part of your consultation.
